SilentiumPC Elementum E2 550W - PSU, 80 Plus White

SilentiumPC Elementum E2 550W is a power supply with high efficiency proven by the 80 PLUS® 230V EU cerfificate. In the medium load range – between 20 and 50% – the efficiency exceeds 87-88%. This means that in the most popular computer sets that consume from 100 to 300 W in real terms, the Elementum E2 550W power supply offers above-average efficiency in this segment, which reduces electricity bills and generated noise. A rich set of cables allows you to connect up to 6 devices with SATA / MOLEX connector and graphics cards with a dual PCI-Express power connector.

The high efficiency of power supply is crucial for the quiet operation of the computer and the low temperatures of the components used in its construction. This in turn translates into a long lifespan of i.a. capacitors which are the basis for stable voltages. These are adapted to work at temperatures of up to 105 °C. Elementum E2 550W 80 PLUS® fulfills this goal with an official certification of efficiency up to 88% in the medium load range. A specially designed interior also helps, as well as an efficient, thermally controlled 120 mm fan with HBS bearing. Above it is a grill that protects the blades and at the same time minimizes the noise generated during air flow.

The SilentiumPC Elementum E2 550W power supply is adapted to the requirements of modern computers, which consume most of the energy from +12 V line. That is why the Elementum E2 550W power supply is able to continuously supply up to 492 W on the +12 V line. For the +5 V and +3.3 V lines, 120 W are available.

The security of the SilentiumPC Elementum E2 550W power supply as well as the computer components connected to it is supervised by a number of protections. OVP protects against too high output voltage, SCP prevents the negative effects of short circuits, OPP is an overload protection, SIP protects against surge currents (e.g. during lightning), UVP protects computer components against too low output voltage. Additionally, Elementum E2 550W is of course equipped with active PFC and also meets the ErP Lot6 and Low Power C6 / C7 standards.
