Vengeance LP low profile DDR3L modules are designed to support Intel 6th generation Core (codenamed Skylake) Processor family. They’re built using highly screened ICs to ensure headroom for overclocking and reliable high-speed operation with low 1.35V power consumption. The heat spreaders have a reduced height of 1.03” (26.25mm) to work with extra-large CPU coolers, or in space constrained systems.
It’s designed to fully support the Intel 6th generation Core processors (codenamed Skylake). Despite low 1.35V power consumption, Vengeance LP DDR3L modules still support the higher clock speeds necessary for high-performance computing.
Vengeance LP heat spreaders have a reduced height of 1.03” (26.25mm) to work with extra-large CPU coolers, in small form factor system builds, or any other space-constrained application where full-sized Vengeance or Vengeance Pro Series memory might not fit.
Match your motherboard’s color scheme, or just pick your favorite color – the choice is yours. And if you’re not feeling colorful… remember, black goes with everything.
Vengeance LP DDR3L memory kits are designed to provide overclocking headroom above rated speed, but the amount of headroom varies slightly from kit to kit.
In the past, finding that overclocking threshold has been a trial-and-error process. With XMP, the process becomes automatic. Enable XMP and your system will select the maximum reliable overclocking settings for your DRAM, so you’ll get the best possible performance without worrying about stability issues.
This kit also works with older motherboards with DDR3 slots. Older processors may not support the higher memory bus speeds and lower voltages allowed by 6th generation Core processors, but this kit will still work at slower speeds and at the 1.5V DDR3 standard. If in doubt, check your motherboard’s documentation.
