littleBits Slide Switch

The slide switch is a small and convenient way to turn parts of your circuit on and off. Unlike a button, which is only "on" when you press it, this Bit uses uses a sturdy plastic lever that stays in place after you slide. With the slide switch "off" stays "off" "stays "on".

When the slide switch is off, it sends a 0 volt signal and will not pass through any Bits past the switch. When the slide switch is on, it sends a 5 volt signal to the following Bits in the circuit.
