You can switch such devices on or off via your smartphone and the alpina Smart home app when they are connected to the power outlet. The app also allows you to set time schedules for each device that is connected to the smart plug. For example, you can switch on your lights when you get home from work and switch them off again when you go to bed.

Consumption meter
Another convenient feature of the smart plug is that you can monitor your power consumption in the alpina Smart home app via a special consumption meter. You can see in real time how much energy you are currently using and can also look back in the past. This insight gives you more clarity into your household's energy consumption and offers opportunities for energy savings.

The smart plug for indoors connects via your Wi-Fi router. So you don't need an additional hub. To control the plug, download the alpina Smart home app to your phone. This app works via the user-friendly Tuya Smart platform. When you have downloaded the app, create an account or log in to an existing account. Then click on '+' to add the smart plug. Plug the smart plug into a power outlet and confirm it in the app when the reset light starts blinking. Confirm your wifi network and password in the app. Also give the smart plug a name in the app. This can then also be used for voice control in Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
