The VPL-SX631 Ultra Short Throw projector is ideal for classroom or corporate use, with simple, flexible installation, low ownership costs and easy connection to other devices.

Present big, bright images over 2m across with the projector as little as 44cm from the screen or whiteboard, with less distracting glare and shadows.

Advanced 3LCD BrightEra™ panel technology by Sony ensures high contrast XGA images with excellent colour stability. The projector’s powerful 3,300 lumens colour light output ensures that presentations are always seen clearly, even in brightly-lit environments.

Seamless integration with school or office networks can be enhanced with an optional Wi-Fi module, letting students wirelessly share homework, images and graphics from PCs, smartphones and tablets.

There’s a wide range of smart energy-saving features built in. An extra-long lamp replacement time of up to 10,000 hours minimises costs and reduces downtime in busy classrooms and offices. A newly-designed wall mount bracket makes installation easier in rooms with low ceilings.

The projector’s high light output ensures that presentations are seen clearly in any classroom or meeting room. There’s a choice of three brightness modes to suit any environment, from bright daylight to darkened rooms.

Ultra short throw distance
Present images up to 80” across (2.03m diagonal) with the projector just 44cm from the screen or whiteboard. Distracting glare and shadows are greatly reduced, as well as saving space in a classroom or meeting room.

XGA resolution for crisply detailed presentations
XGA (1024 x 768) resolution gives plenty of crisp detail: ideal for making presentations direct from a laptop or PC.

3LCD BrightEra™ technology
The projector’s efficient 3LCD panel system is enhanced by advanced BrightEra™ technology by Sony. You’ll see the difference with impressively bright, consistent, high resolution images and increased panel reliability.

Gamma adjustment
A new gamma curve adjustment offers three settings for accurate tonal reproduction with rich, punchy colours and clear, easy-to-read text.

Up to 10,000 hours (in Low mode) long-lasting lamp for reduced maintenance and down time
Present for longer without interruption, with reduced maintenance that contributes directly to lower lifetime ownership costs. Filter cleaning cycles are synchronised with lamp replacement, cutting scheduled maintenance visits even further.

Wired or wireless network presentation
Upgraded Network Presentation software (included) makes it easier than ever to deliver presentations from a networked PC or Mac with simple one-click connection. Up to four users can project PC/Mac images simultaneously, and up to eight users can connect to one projector. Add the optional IFU-WLM3 USB wireless LAN module and present wirelessly from your tablet or smartphone, using the VueMagic app from Pixelworks
