The new Windows Small Business Server 2011 Premium Add-on is designed as an alternative to offering a premium edition as a full product offering (all-in-one product offering) as was offered for SBS 2008 Premium. This optional Add-on provides small and medium business customers more flexibility when they are ready to acquire line of business applications. Customers that may not be ready to implement a premium edition of SBS will have the option to acquire the Premium Add-on to their SBS 2011 Standard domain at any time. For those customers that choose to acquire the 2011 Premium Add-on, they will also need to acquire the appropriate number of Premium Add-on Suite CALs for Users or Devices.
