The Noctua NF-A9 PWM is a 92mm case fan engineered for system cooling applications. It connects via a 4-pin PWM header, allowing motherboards to automatically regulate its rotational speed based on thermal requirements. This functionality enables the fan to operate at lower, quieter speeds during idle or light loads and increase its performance when the system temperature rises. With standard 92x92x25mm dimensions, it is designed for compatibility with common case fan mounting locations, including front intake, rear exhaust, and compact system builds where space is a consideration.

This fan operates at speeds up to 2000 RPM, producing a maximum airflow of 46.44 CFM and a static pressure of 2.28 mmH2O. Its acoustic performance is rated between 16.3 and 22.8 dB, depending on its operational speed. The construction incorporates Noctua's Advanced Acoustic Optimisation (AAO) frame and an SSO2 bearing.
