The Cisco Aironet 3802I is a dual-band wireless access point for high-density enterprise environments. It supports the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) standard and is compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n protocols. The device offers a maximum combined speed of 5200 Mbit/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. MU-MIMO technology enables simultaneous communication with multiple clients to improve throughput, while beamforming increases signal reliability by focusing transmissions toward connected devices.

The access point connects to the local network via a single Multigigabit Ethernet port that supports speeds up to 5000 Mbit/s. It is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), which handles both data and power delivery through one cable. Security options include WPA2 and WPA3, in addition to Cisco CleanAir technology for detecting radio frequency interference.
