The Thermaltake Core V1 is a cube-style chassis engineered for Mini-ITX motherboards. It features a dual-chamber layout that separates the primary components, such as the motherboard and graphics card, from the power supply and drive cages located in the lower chamber. This design facilitates cleaner cable management and isolates heat between component zones. The case's side panels are interchangeable, allowing the windowed panel to be positioned on the top or either side to provide different viewing angles of the internal hardware.

Cooling is managed by a pre-installed 200mm fan at the front intake, which provides direct airflow over the main chamber. The chassis also has mounts for two optional 80mm fans at the rear for exhaust. For users considering liquid cooling, the front panel supports either a 120mm or a 140mm radiator. The interior offers 140mm of clearance for CPU coolers and can house a standard ATX power supply up to 200mm in length, fitting a range of components within its compact footprint.
