Ubiquiti airMAX NanoBeam 5AC Gen2 - Wireless Bridge

The Ubiquiti airMAX NanoBeam 5AC Gen2 is an outdoor wireless bridge for long-range point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links. It operates on the 5 GHz band using the airMAX AC protocol, which is based on 802.11ac standards. The device supports a maximum wireless data rate of 450 Mbit/s. Its integrated directional antenna focuses the signal to reduce interference in high-density environments. 256-QAM modulation helps maintain link stability under varying atmospheric conditions, and the dedicated radio link serves as an alternative to standard Wi-Fi for building-to-building connectivity.

The housing consists of UV-stabilized plastic suitable for outdoor use. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports provide wired connectivity at speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. The unit is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), drawing a typical load of 8.5 W and removing the need for local electrical outlets. Web-based management software allows for the configuration of parameters, including static IP, DHCP settings, and tagged VLANs. Security relies on WPA2 encryption and an integrated firewall.
