The ICY DOCK ExpressCage MB322SP-B is an internal mobile rack designed to fit into a standard 5.25\" desktop drive bay. It provides space for two 2.5\" SATA or SAS drives and a single 3.5\" drive or compatible expansion device. This configuration allows for the consolidation of multiple storage drives into one external-facing bay. The 2.5\" slots accommodate drive heights ranging from 5 mm to 9.5 mm, supporting most standard SSDs and laptop HDDs.

The unit is constructed from metal with plastic components and connects via two SATA 7-pin data ports and one 15-pin SATA power connector. Each 2.5\" bay utilizes an ExpressTray Mini system for tool-less drive installation. Integrated blue LED indicators display solid light for power and flashing light to signal drive activity. Hot-swap functionality enables the replacement of 2.5\" drives without requiring a system restart.

This mobile rack supports data transfer rates up to 6 Gbit/s and includes a detachable dust cover for the 3.5\" bay. The device is OS independent and operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. It measures 41.3 mm in width, 145.8 mm in depth, and 151.1 mm in height.
