The Tenda AC10 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 router operating on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It offers a combined speed of 1167 Mbit/s, with up to 867 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. The device uses MU-MIMO technology to communicate with multiple devices simultaneously and four external antennas with beamforming to direct the signal toward connected hardware. It supports the 802.11ac standard and remains compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n devices. A dedicated guest network feature is also included.

Wired connectivity includes one Gigabit Ethernet WAN port and three Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. Security features consist of WPA2-PSK encryption, a built-in firewall, and IP address filtering. Users can manage the network via a web-based interface, which allows for the configuration of Quality of Service (QoS) settings for traffic prioritisation. Parental controls feature URL filtering to restrict access to specific websites. The device supports PPTP and L2TP VPN client modes. A physical reset button and status LEDs are located on the housing for monitoring and system recovery.
