The Intel Ethernet Network Adapter X710-T2L is a dual-port, internal PCIe 3.0 x8 expansion card designed for 10 Gigabit wired networking in servers and workstations. It connects directly to compatible motherboards to provide copper Ethernet connectivity. The adapter supports data transfer rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s and uses the Intel Ethernet Controller X710-AT2 to manage network traffic.
Equipped with two RJ45 ports, the card supports speeds of 100, 1000, 2500, 5000, and 10,000 Mbit/s. It is compatible with standard Category 5e, 6, or 6A copper cabling for physical links up to 100 metres in length. The hardware supports Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2012, Linux, and FreeBSD. Built-in Quality of Service (QoS) functionality helps prioritise critical traffic during periods of network congestion, making the dual-port design suitable for enterprise data centres and professional workstation configurations.
