The Cisco Catalyst 9130AXE-E Wi-Fi 6 Access Point is an enterprise network device designed for high-density wireless environments. It supports the IEEE 802.11ax standard and is backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac protocols. A single RJ45 port provides the primary wired uplink. The 8x8 radio architecture uses uplink and downlink OFDMA and MU-MIMO to manage concurrent client traffic. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support simplifies deployment by removing the need for a separate power source at the mounting site.

The unit is managed via an integrated web-based interface. It contains 2048 MB of RAM and 1024 MB of flash storage. Security protocols include 802.11i, WPA2, WPA3, and AES encryption to protect wireless communications. A status LED array on the grey housing provides feedback on boot sequences, warnings, and association states. A single USB 2.0 port is available for additional hardware.
