Club 3D CAC-1007 - DisplayPort Active Repeater, Black

The CLUB 3D DisplayPort 1.4 Active Repeater (4K 120Hz, HBR3) CAC-1007 is a signal amplifier used to connect two DisplayPort cables. Using a female-to-female connector, it regenerates the source video feed to extend the total cable length. Built to the DisplayPort 1.4 specification, the device supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 pixels at a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is suitable for high-bandwidth setups, such as high-refresh-rate PC monitors and large-format displays. Active signal processing maintains picture stability when routing signals between distant AV components.

Designed for longer cable runs, the repeater maintains signal integrity over distances of up to 20 metres. The unit is powered via a Micro-USB connection, ensuring consistent amplification without relying on the host device for power. Achieving the highest rated resolutions may require compatible source and display settings, as well as support for firmware or Display Stream Compression (DSC). This repeater is practical for workstation-to-projector runs where standard cables are insufficient. The external USB power requirement makes it well-suited for fixed, multi-room installations.
