The Epson EB-982W is a standard throw projector designed for business and educational environments. It utilizes 3LCD technology to display content at a native WXGA resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The internal lamp produces a brightness of 4200 ANSI lumens, which is sufficient for clear visibility in rooms with ambient light. A typical contrast ratio of 16000:1 provides definition between light and dark portions of the image. The unit is intended for placement on a desktop or mounting to a ceiling.

For source inputs, the device includes two HDMI ports, two VGA (D-Sub) ports, and a USB 2.0 Type-A port.
