The D-Link DAP-X1860 AX1800 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Range Extender acts as a wireless relay to eliminate dead zones in your local network. Using the 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 standard, it offers higher capacity and efficiency than previous wireless generations. The dual-band unit operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies simultaneously, reaching theoretical speeds of 1200 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. Its mesh capabilities allow it to work with compatible routers to maintain a single network name throughout the premises.

Two internal antennas are designed to distribute the signal over a range of up to 185 metres. A Gigabit Ethernet port allows for wired connections to devices such as smart TVs or game consoles. The device plugs directly into a standard wall socket for immediate use. You can configure the extender using the WPS button or a web-based management interface. This white, wall-mounted unit consumes a maximum of 9.7 W. To maintain signal stability, it automatically selects the least congested frequency.
