The TP-Link Tapo C310 is a wall-mounted outdoor security camera designed for monitoring property boundaries. It connects to a standard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network to stream live footage to an app. The camera records in 3-megapixel resolution (2304 by 1296 pixels) at 15 frames per second. An 850 nm infrared night vision system allows it to see in complete darkness at a range of up to 30 metres. Built-in motion sensors monitor the area and send alerts to your smartphone when activity is detected; a siren can also be triggered to deter visitors.

Designed for outdoor use, the camera has an IP66 weatherproof rating, protecting it from dust and heavy rain. The unit is mains-powered; it does not support battery operation or Power over Ethernet. A built-in microphone and speaker enable two-way audio, allowing you to speak to people outside. You can store footage locally using a microSD card (up to 128 GB), removing the need for a cloud subscription. The camera works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control and is compatible with Android and iOS via the Tapo app.
