The QNAP TS-h973AX-32G is a 9-bay tower NAS designed for small and medium-sized businesses. It runs the QuTS hero 5.0.0 operating system and uses an AMD Ryzen Embedded V1500B quad-core processor. This model comes with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM. The hardware accommodates up to nine 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives and supports U.2 NVMe SSDs and SATA 6 Gb/s drives. Three RJ45 ports provide network connectivity at speeds of up to 10 GbE.

The black tower chassis is actively cooled by a single 140 mm fan, operating at a noise level of 22.9 dB. For data integrity, the system supports RAID levels 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60. Data permissions are managed through 256-bit AES encryption and access control lists. The unit supports hot-swapping, allowing drives to be replaced without shutting down the system.
