The Ubiquiti Networks AmpliFi Alien Wi-Fi 6 Kit (AFI-ALN) is a two-piece mesh system consisting of a primary router and a secondary MeshPoint. It provides dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) coverage, operating simultaneously across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. The system creates a unified network using wireless transmission or Ethernet backhaul to link the two units. The total wireless data transfer rate reaches a maximum of 4800 Mbit/s. An integrated Gigabit Ethernet WAN port connects to a modem for internet access. The units are powered via a standard 100–240 V AC wall outlet and do not support Power over Ethernet.

Both units are designed for indoor desktop use. Each unit has a black casing with a green LED ring that indicates the operational status. The main router features a built-in touchscreen, allowing for direct configuration without external software. Security is managed via WPA2 encryption and an integrated firewall. A DHCP server assigns local IP addresses to connected devices. The vertical design stands 250 mm tall, intended to save shelf or desk space.
