The Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip for 65-inch TVs is an LED strip designed to be mounted on the back of large televisions. The 20W device delivers 1100 lumens of light, offering both full-colour output and adjustable white tones. Its flexible silicone housing allows it to be installed around the perimeter of 65- to 75-inch screens. It supports both Bluetooth and Zigbee, allowing it to connect directly or via the Philips Hue Bridge. The lightstrip is capable of displaying multiple colours simultaneously to match on-screen content.

The lightstrip is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit for voice-controlled operation. Settings can be managed via the mobile app for Android and iOS, which also provides dimming controls. The white light temperature ranges from 2000K to 6500K. The LEDs have a rated lifespan of 25,000 hours. The device consumes 20 kWh per 1000 hours and has an energy efficiency class G rating.
