The StarTech ST121HD20V HDMI over Cat6 Extender Kit converts an HDMI Type A output to an RJ45 connection. This video extender uses standard Cat6 cabling to reach a maximum distance of 50 metres between a media source and a remote display. The system supports a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels at a 60 Hz refresh rate. High Dynamic Range (HDR) is also supported, preserving image quality over the extended cable run.
Both modules are housed in metal, making them suitable for fixed AV installations. An external AC adapter powers the hardware, supporting 100–240 V inputs.
