The TP-Link Deco X60 is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system designed for dual-band operation on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. It delivers a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 2976 Mbit/s, with 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. The system uses OFDMA and MU-MIMO to manage capacity for up to 100 devices. Four internal antennas and beamforming provide signal stability. Intelligent mesh technology ensures a unified network across the two nodes.
Each unit features two Gigabit Ethernet ports for WAN or LAN connectivity. Security is handled by WPA3 encryption, a built-in firewall, and parental controls for content filtering. Management includes Quality of Service and support for guest access and PPTP or L2TP VPN protocols. The nodes are designed for desktop placement with a 110 mm by 110 mm footprint. Power is supplied by included AC adapters.
