The Club 3D DisplayPort to Dual Link DVI-D Active Adapter converts a DisplayPort output into a Dual Link DVI-D connection. It uses active circuitry to maintain signal integrity during transmission. The adapter supports a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels at a 60 Hz refresh rate, and up to 144 Hz at lower resolutions. It is based on the DisplayPort 1.2a specification.

The unit is powered via a built-in USB Type-A connector, eliminating the need for an external power supply. By default, the adapter operates with HDCP disabled, which allows it to connect to older monitors that may not support modern security handshake protocols. The connectors are designed to fit standard back-panel ports, and the black finish matches most professional workstation equipment.
