Noctua NH-U14S DX-4189, 140 mm CPU Cooler

The NH-U14S DX-4189 is a specialized air cooler designed exclusively for Intel LGA4189 socket platforms, catering specifically to high-performance Xeon processors including 3rd generation Xeon Scalable and W-3300 series. This cooler employs the large NH-U14S heatsink structure combined with six 6mm copper heat pipes intended for efficient thermal dissipation. The base plate features a custom contact surface area sized optimally for the large integrated heat spreader (IHS) found on compatible Xeon CPUs.

Heat transfer is managed by one 140mm NF-A15 fan utilizing Self-Stabilising Oil-pressure (SSO) bearings for long-term reliability. The fan operates via PWM control, enabling speeds between 300 RPM minimum and 1500 RPM maximum while maintaining an acoustic output peaking at 24.6 dB. The cooler construction integrates a nickel-plated copper base and aluminum fins, offering a robust cooling unit intended for sustained workload applications in server or workstation environments.
