The Cisco Catalyst 9124AXD-E is an outdoor access point designed for high-capacity wireless connectivity in enterprise environments. It uses the Wi‑Fi 6 standard to manage client connections across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, providing a maximum combined speed of 5380 Mbit/s for data-intensive applications in high-density areas. The internal directional antenna focuses the signal to extend range within specific coverage zones, while integrated MU-MIMO and beamforming technologies optimise data transmission by directing signals toward individual devices.

For wired connectivity, the unit features two RJ45 ports supporting 100, 1000, and 2500 Mbit/s Ethernet.
