The NETGEAR Nighthawk AX2400 (RAX30) is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) router engineered for stable home network operation. Wireless bandwidth is split between the 5 GHz band, offering speeds up to 1800 Mbit/s, and the 2.4 GHz band, providing up to 574 Mbit/s. A 1500 MHz triple-core processor handles data management, helping to maintain performance under high load conditions. Coverage stability is addressed by three external antennas and integrated Beamforming technology, which directs signals toward client devices. MU-MIMO functionality further supports simultaneous data streams to multiple connected systems.
Wired connections are provided via one dedicated Gigabit Ethernet WAN port and four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, all supporting 10/100/1000 Mbit/s data rates. For network storage or peripherals, the router includes one USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) port. Security protocols include WPA3 encryption and an integrated firewall with NETGEAR Armor functionality, supplemented by QoS support for traffic prioritization. The unit measures 237 mm wide, 202 mm deep, and weighs 465 grams.
