The Makita BL1815N is a rechargeable 18 V, 1.5 Ah lithium-ion battery for Makita 18 V LXT cordless power tools. It is suited to construction, maintenance, metalworking, and DIY applications. With a 1.5 Ah capacity, the pack favours light weight and easy handling over runtime, making it a practical choice for intermittent use or for jobs where frequent battery swaps are acceptable. Its low capacity also suits lighter-duty tasks where the added weight of a larger pack would be unnecessary.

The black housing slides directly onto compatible LXT tools. One battery is included; a compatible Makita LXT charger is required and sold separately. The compact size suits overhead or confined-space work, where tool balance matters, and the low weight helps reduce fatigue during extended use. A full recharge from empty takes approximately 15 minutes with a suitable fast charger.
