BOSCH CYL-9 Glass and Ceramic Tile Drill Bit Set, 5-piece, 4-10 mm

The Bosch CYL-9 Glass and Ceramic Tile Drill Bit Set is a five-piece carbide set for drilling holes in soft and medium-density tiles, porcelain, ceramic and non-toughened glass. The bits are designed for brittle surface materials rather than general-purpose drilling across unrelated substrates. They are specified for clean, accurate hole making in the listed materials. The application range covers professional installation and maintenance work as well as DIY tile, ceramic and glass projects. Non-toughened glass is the stated glass category, an important limitation when selecting the set for glazing work.

The round shanks are compatible with rotary drills and drill/drivers that use a round chuck. Available diameters are 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm. This sequence does not include every whole-millimetre size within its 4–10 mm range. Each bit has a 70 mm overall length. This is a non-powered accessory set, so a compatible drill or drill/driver must be supplied separately.
