Makita 9404J 1010 W Belt Sander

Makita 9404J 1010 W Belt Sander is an AC mains belt sander designed for fast material removal, surface levelling and paint removal on large workpieces. Its 1,010 W input power drives the sanding belt for demanding preparation of broad surfaces. Belt speed is adjustable from 210 to 440 m/min, allowing the removal rate to be matched to the material and task. The lower end provides a more controlled sanding rate, while the upper end supports heavier stock removal. It is specified for wood and other compatible materials.

An integrated dust extraction port and supplied dust bag collect debris at the tool during sanding. Automatic belt alignment helps keep the abrasive correctly positioned while the machine is running. The 100 × 610 mm belt format provides a broad contact area for large surfaces. At 4.8 kg, the belt sander’s weight is relevant when planning prolonged or vertical work. A 5 m power cable provides additional working reach. The included carrying case protects the machine during storage and transport.
