Makita BO5041 300 W Random Orbital Sander is a corded electric tool for sanding and surface finishing. It is suitable for wood, stone, metal, painted surfaces and composite materials. Its 300 W input supports smoothing, preparation and finishing across those surfaces. Electronic speed adjustment provides a no-load range from 4,000 to 12,000 OPM. This control lets the sanding rate be matched to the material and task. The random orbital motion removes material while helping to leave an even, swirl-reduced finish.

An integrated dust-extraction port directs debris into the supplied dust bag. The 125 mm round plate uses hook-and-loop abrasive discs for quick media changes. At 1.4 kg, the random orbital sander remains manageable during longer sessions. A soft-grip body and a 360-degree adjustable auxiliary handle support different hand positions and improve control on edges or broad surfaces. Sandpaper is included, so the supplied abrasive can be fitted without sourcing an initial disc separately.
