The DEWALT SDS Max Combination Hammer Drill, rated at 1,050 W, is a corded drill for concrete, masonry and other building materials. Its brushed motor runs from AC mains electricity and does not depend on a battery platform. It can drill holes up to 40 mm in concrete. Rotary hammer, hammer-only chiselling and rotary-only drilling modes cover anchor-hole drilling, chiselling and demolition work. Independent impact and rotation stops allow drilling-only or chiselling applications when required. It is intended for professional tradespeople and experienced users carrying out demanding installation and renovation work.

At 5.9 kg, the drill has a compact, slim pistol-grip form designed to improve control and access in confined spaces. A soft-grip auxiliary handle provides an additional contact point for stability during demanding work. The SDS Max chuck accepts compatible heavy-duty drill bits and chisels, so bit selection needs to match the SDS Max interface. A carrying case is included for storage and transport.
