The DEWALT 18V XR Brushless Hammer Drill is a cordless drill and driver for fastening and drilling in wood, steel, brickwork, and concrete. Its 18 V battery platform provides cordless operation for construction, installation, renovation, and demanding DIY work. Maximum torque is 65 N·m in hard applications and 26 N·m in soft applications. Maximum drilling diameter is 30 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel, brickwork, and concrete. The hammer function enables drilling in masonry, where a conventional rotary drill may be less effective.

The drill weighs 1.2 kg and has a pistol-grip handle for controlled positioning during drilling and screwdriving. Its keyless chuck accepts bits from 1.5 to 13 mm without needing a chuck key.
