The DEWALT DCD791NT 18V XR Brushless Cordless Drill Driver, Body Only is intended for drilling wood and steel as well as driving fasteners. It runs on the DEWALT 18V XR battery platform. Maximum torque reaches 70 N·m in hard applications and 40 N·m in soft applications. Its maximum drilling diameter is 40 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel. The cordless format keeps it independent of a mains connection during use.

At 1.2 kg without a battery, the drill has a compact pistol-grip form with a soft-grip handle. Its keyless chuck accepts bits from 1.5 to 13 mm and allows tool-free changes. A two-speed gearbox and adjustable speed control provide a choice of drilling and fastening speeds. The integrated work light improves visibility around the bit.
