The DEWALT 18V XR Brushless Cordless Drill Driver is a battery-powered drill driver for trade use, installation, maintenance, and demanding DIY work. It runs on 18 V and delivers up to 70 N⋅m of torque for drilling and screwdriving in a range of materials. Maximum drilling capacity is 40 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel. A brushless motor drives the drill.

The drill weighs 1.7 kg with a battery fitted and 1.1 kg without. Its keyless chuck takes bits from 1.5 to 13 mm. A two-speed gearbox and variable-speed trigger let you adjust drilling and driving speeds. The pistol-grip body has a soft-grip handle and a built-in work light. Two removable 5.0 Ah XR lithium-ion batteries and a charger are supplied, along with a carrying case.
