The DEWALT XR 18V Brushless 125 mm Angle Grinder is a cordless angle grinder intended for grinding, cutting and surface preparation. Its 125 mm disc format supports compatible grinding and cutting accessories for general metalworking tasks. The 1,000 W input rating and 9,000 RPM maximum no-load speed define its cutting and stock-removal capability. Battery operation removes the need for a mains cable in the work area. As the speed is not adjustable, fitted accessories must be rated for operation at 9,000 RPM.

At 1,750 g, the grinder features a compact, low-profile gearbox and a two-position auxiliary handle for directional control. A rubberised soft-grip surface provides a secure grip during extended use. Soft start moderates startup, while kickback protection helps maintain control if the disc catches. An electronic brake stops the disc quickly, and a dead-man switch is also fitted. The protective guard can be repositioned without tools, simplifying routine adjustments.
