The Makita 18 V LXT 125 mm cordless angle grinder is designed for grinding, sanding, and general metalworking. It runs on Makita's 18 V LXT battery platform, removing the need for a mains lead during use. No-load speed is adjustable from 3,000 to 8,500 RPM across five settings. This range allows the operating speed to be matched to the fitted accessory, material and task. The disc format and speed control support routine cutting, surface preparation, and stock removal.

At 2.4 kg, the grinder has an auxiliary handle and soft-grip surfaces to support controlled handling. Soft start moderates initial movement, while the electric brake helps stop the disc quickly after switch-off. Active Feedback sensing Technology helps reduce kickback risk if the disc binds, while restart protection prevents unintended operation after a power interruption. A carrying case is supplied for storage and transport. This is a body-only package, so an 18 V LXT battery and compatible charger must be purchased separately.
