The Makita 18V LXT Brushless Hammer Driver Drill is a cordless hammer drill intended for construction, installation, renovation, maintenance, and workshop tasks. It runs on the Makita 18V LXT battery platform. Maximum torque is rated at 50 N·m for harder applications and 27 N·m for softer applications. Maximum drilling diameters are 38 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel, concrete, and brickwork.

The drill weighs 1.1 kg without a battery and 1.8 kg with one fitted. Its keyless chuck accepts bits from 1.5 to 13 mm and requires no chuck key for bit changes. A soft-grip handle and integrated LED light assist handling and visibility around the work area. Two gears and adjustable speed provide separate ranges for controlled driving and faster drilling. The removable lithium-ion battery system is compatible with Makita 18V LXT batteries. This body-only version includes no battery, no charger, and no carrying case.
