The Makita DTW180RTJ 18V LXT Brushless 3/8-inch Cordless Impact Wrench Kit is a battery-powered impact wrench for fastening and loosening nuts and bolts. Its 18 V system removes the need for a mains cable when working around vehicles, pipework, or installed equipment. Maximum torque is rated at 180 Nm. The compact 144 mm body is intended for access in confined working areas. A 3/8-inch square drive accepts compatible impact sockets and fastening accessories.

The impact wrench weighs 1.2 kg and uses a brushless motor. The soft-grip handle provides a secure hold, while the built-in LED illuminates restricted or poorly lit areas. Variable-speed control and forward or reverse operation allow the fastening direction and rate to be adjusted. The kit includes two removable 5.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries and a battery charger. A MakPac carrying case is also supplied for storage and transport.
