The Makita HR4013C 1100 W SDS-MAX Combination Hammer is a corded drill for concrete drilling and hammer-only chiselling in construction and renovation work. With a 1,100 W input rating, the drill runs on mains power only and does not use a battery platform. It has a stated maximum drilling diameter of 40 mm in concrete. The rotary hammer and hammer-only modes cover both boring and material removal, so no separate machines are needed. The tool is intended for demanding masonry work rather than screwdriving or general-purpose drilling in wood and metal.

Weighing 6.8 kg, the hammer drill is built for substantial two-handed work. The SDS-MAX chuck allows fast accessory changes and accepts matching SDS-MAX drill bits and chisels. Adjustable speed spans 250–500 RPM to suit the application. A built-in light and ergonomic design help when positioning the drill during use.
