DeWalt DCB118X2-QW XR FlexVolt 54V/18V Battery and Charger Set, 2 x 9/3 Ah

The DEWALT DCB118X2-QW is a battery and charger set for DEWALT cordless power tools. Two XR FLEXVOLT lithium-ion batteries are included, each capable of 54V or 18V operation depending on the connected tool. With DEWALT 18V XR equipment, each battery delivers 9 Ah of capacity. The same pack automatically switches to 54V when attached to compatible XR FLEXVOLT tools, providing 3 Ah at that voltage. This dual-voltage design lets one battery type serve both the 18V XR and 54V XR FLEXVOLT platforms without separate battery inventories. Lithium-ion chemistry avoids the memory effect, allowing partial charging without permanently reducing overall capacity.

The included charger weighs 650 g and connects to DEWALT's slide-on battery interface. Built-in protection circuitry guards against overcharging, overheating, and deep discharge during each charging cycle. The charger handles one battery at a time, so both packs must be charged in sequence. The same batteries fit both 18V XR and 54V XR FLEXVOLT tools, so they can be moved between platforms without adapters.
