The Makita 18V LXT Brushless Impact Wrench is a cordless impact wrench intended for demanding fastening work in maintenance, construction, industrial and agricultural settings. It operates on an 18 V battery platform. Maximum fastening torque is rated at 1,200 N·m for high-load nuts and bolts. A brushless motor provides the drive without the maintenance requirements of carbon brushes. The impact mechanism transfers rotational force through a 1/2-inch square drive for use with compatible impact sockets.

Weight including the battery is 3.6 kg, which is relevant when working for extended periods or above shoulder height. A soft-grip handle provides a defined contact surface, while the built-in LED illuminates confined or poorly lit work areas. Three power settings and adjustable speed allow the output to be matched to different fastening tasks. The kit contains two removable 5.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries and a compatible charger. A Makpac carrying case is also supplied for organised transport and storage.
