The BLACK+DECKER BDCR18N-XJ 18V Cordless Reciprocating Saw Bare Tool is designed for cutting wood, metal, and plastic in DIY, renovation, demolition, and gardening tasks. Powered by an 18V lithium-ion battery, it runs cordlessly for use where a mains connection is impractical. It achieves a maximum cutting depth of 100 mm in wood and 10 mm in metal profiles or pipes. The saw is compatible with the BLACK+DECKER 18V POWERCONNECT battery platform, so existing batteries from the range can be used. Its compact form factor makes it suitable for work in confined spaces where a corded saw would be difficult to manoeuvre.

Weighing 1,500 g, the tool is light enough for prolonged use in tight or overhead positions. A non-slip soft-grip handle helps maintain control during extended cutting sessions. As a bare tool, it ships without a battery or charger, so both must be acquired separately. Blade changes are tool-free, allowing quick swaps between materials on site.
