The NETGEAR Orbi RBK763S is a Tri-Band mesh Wi-Fi system designed for extending 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) coverage across expansive areas, supporting up to 525 square meters using three distinct units. The system operates on one 2.4 GHz band and two 5 GHz bands, one of which is dedicated to high-speed backhaul communication between the nodes. The combined maximum data transfer rate is 5400 Mbit/s, enabling support for up to 75 simultaneously connected devices under optimal conditions.

Each node in the system features a dual-core 1000 MHz processor, supported by 1024 MB of internal memory and 4096 MB of flash memory. Wired connectivity is facilitated by Gigabit Ethernet interfaces across the system, providing a total of seven RJ45 ports for client devices and WAN connection. Core networking technologies, including MU-MIMO and Beamforming, are integrated to optimize signal delivery and maintain stable connections across the coverage area.

Network security is implemented via WPA3-Personal and WPA2-Personal encryption, alongside a standard firewall and Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) capability. Management features include Quality of Service (QoS) support, DHCP server functionality, and parental controls for localized access management. The system supports guest network configurations and allows configuration via a web interface or mobile application.
