The TP-Link TL-WPA4226 KIT AV600 extends internet connectivity through existing electrical wiring. This two-adapter kit avoids the need for dedicated Ethernet cabling by using the HomePlug AV standard to transmit data through domestic power circuits. With a maximum powerline transfer rate of 600 Mbit/s, the kit supports streaming and web browsing in rooms distant from the router. Two Fast Ethernet ports on the receiver allow for direct wired connections to devices such as smart TVs or game consoles. An integrated power socket on the main adapter keeps the wall outlet free for other electronics, while the built-in 2.4 GHz wireless access point expands network coverage into dead zones.

Installation is plug-and-play and requires no software configuration. Users can secure the connection by pressing the pair button on each adapter. The kit supports WPA2-PSK and WEP wireless security protocols to safeguard the 300 Mbit/s Wi-Fi signal. LED indicators show the current status of the LAN, PLC, power, and WLAN connections. The adapters have a compact design, measuring 54 mm by 40 mm by 94 mm, and are compatible with IEEE 802.11n and 802.3u networking standards. The system functions over electrical circuits of up to 300 metres, providing connectivity across different floors or sections of a building.
