The Cooler Master MasterBox 520 Mesh is a mid-tower chassis designed for high-airflow component configurations. Its front panel is a fine mesh construction intended to maximize air intake, complemented by a single tempered glass side panel that provides a full view of the internal hardware. This Blackout Edition features an all-black finish without integrated illumination for a uniform aesthetic. The case supports a wide range of motherboard form factors, including Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, SSI CEB, and E-ATX, providing flexibility for various builds.

For thermal management, the chassis comes with three 120 mm PWM front fans and one 120 mm rear fan pre-installed. It offers extensive cooling customization with support for up to 360 mm radiators in both the front and top positions. The top panel is completely removable to simplify the installation of cooling components and motherboards. Storage options include dedicated bays for two 3.5-inch drives and three 2.5-inch drives. A bottom-mounted ATX power supply shroud and integrated cable management contribute to an organized internal layout.
