The Creative Zen Hybrid is a pair of black over-ear headphones designed with a foldable, reinforced steel headband and synthetic leather ear cushions. Audio delivery relies on 40-mm neodymium drivers operating within a 20–20,000 Hz frequency response range. For connectivity, the headset utilizes Bluetooth 5.0 with a 10-meter wireless range and supports standard audio profiles, including AAC and SBC. It also includes a 1.2-meter 3.5-mm auxiliary cable for an optional wired connection.

These headphones feature Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation to reduce ambient environmental sounds, alongside an Ambient Mode that allows users to hear their surroundings. Voice capture is handled by a built-in omnidirectional microphone with integrated noise-canceling technology to isolate speech during phone conversations. The lithium-ion polymer battery provides up to 37 hours of continuous audio playback, or 27 hours with noise cancellation enabled. On-device buttons allow users to adjust volume, answer or reject calls, and manage audio directly from the earcup.
