The HPE Aruba AP-584 is an outdoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point designed for high-density environments. It operates on dual-band frequencies with a maximum combined data rate of 2970 Mbit/s: 2400 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. Integrated MU-MIMO and beamforming technologies support performance across multiple connected clients. The access point handles up to 1024 devices, making it suitable for large-scale industrial or campus deployments. It also features built-in Bluetooth and Zigbee radios for IoT integration.

The AP-584 connects via two RJ-45 Ethernet ports supporting 1, 5, and 10 Gbit/s. Power over Ethernet (PoE) enables remote installation, removing the need for local power outlets. The IP66/67-rated enclosure protects internal components against dust and water in exposed environments. Security protocols include WPA2, WPA3, and WPA3-Enhanced Open. The unit can be wall- or pole-mounted and operates in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +65 °C. Administrative control is handled via a web-based management interface.
