The TP-Link Deco X50 Outdoor is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 mesh unit providing coverage up to 230 m². It delivers a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 3000 Mbit/s, offering up to 2402 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. This unit supports MU-MIMO and beamforming technology to manage connections for up to 100 devices. Intelligent mesh technology enables seamless roaming when paired with other Deco units.
Hardware features include two auto-sensing Gigabit Ethernet WAN/LAN ports and an IP65-rated weatherproof enclosure suitable for outdoor installation. The device operates via AC power or Power over Ethernet (PoE) and supports pole, wall, or tabletop mounting. Security is managed through WPA3 and WPA2 encryption, supported by a firewall and guest access. Additional software features include Quality of Service (QoS), parental controls, and URL filtering for network management.
