The Fractal Design North is a mid-tower ATX case that integrates natural materials into its design. Its construction combines a steel frame with a real wood front panel and fine-patterned mesh for ventilation. This design focuses on providing unobstructed airflow to internal hardware while maintaining a distinct aesthetic. The chassis offers compatibility with standard ATX, mATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, serving as a flexible foundation for various system configurations.

For thermal management, the case includes two pre-installed 140 mm Aspect PWM fans in the front to establish intake airflow. The internal layout supports extensive cooling options, including space for a front-mounted 360 mm radiator and a top-mounted 240 mm radiator for liquid cooling setups. Internal clearances accommodate graphics cards up to 355 mm in length and CPU coolers up to 170 mm in height. The design incorporates dedicated drive mounts and integrated cable management routing to facilitate an organized build process.
